Consciousness Means Illusion and Impermanence – Your Life Wasted!

Right now, you are alive and possibly, happy. Sure, there are ups and downs in your life, but on average, you are quite enjoying the daily parade of the happy and unhappy moments, usually coming in equal doses.
You desire this and that, and the fear of “something” is always present in the back of your mind.
However, on the balance, you’d call your life a happy and content one.
When you look around, the people you know – your family and friends, share similar outlook on life and thus all of you form a support network based on the mutual feelings of love, compassion, care, etc.

Yet, it all is not as rosy as it seems…
Has it ever occurred to you that the whole support network forming the foundations of your “internal peace” or your mental well being, if you like, is based on an illusion?
Do you realize that all the feelings, no matter how noble and virtuous essentially have no existence?
Do you know that the whole “system” that makes for your earthly reality, is based on the con job that the consciousness plays on you? How naive you are, accepting the mirage, and refusing to acknowledge the truth!

Imagine… right now, you are on your deathbed and death is only moments away. The vital breath or vital force if you prefer, will soon leave you. With it, the consciousness that was making your body appear real to you will also be gone, merging with the Universal Consciousness.
What will happen to all these desires, dreams, fears and all other feelings that were interwoven into every moment of your life? Some of them you’ve treasured so much, you’ve made them your raison d’être.
There will no longer be a place to store them – your mind and memory, no longer supported by the vital breath, will disappear. And so will all those treasured memories, the profound love you’ve bestowed on those dearest to you, the ecstasy of uplifting moments, the joy of accomplishments and rewards… All gone! Even the feelings of hate, despair and regrets that made for a complete life experience will disappear.
Having been held as important in your heart and mind, now they’re fading into oblivion… together with your last breath.

And the time comes, when you are dead… to the onlookers, at least.
From your own perspective, nothing has really happened. The mirage that you called your life has vanished. You are back where you always belonged – merged with the Absolute.
After consciousness left, the illusions of the “I am” and even the “I” disappears also, in the end. All is back to the glorious, original state. Now, tell me: what is the value of all those feelings, life achievements, joy and the sense of belonging that constituted the fibre of your, just expired, human existence? Zero, nothing. Another life wasted on gathering impermanence and illusion of the consciousness.
Consider yourself lucky, that after merging with the Absolute you don’t “care” anymore. Otherwise, you’d get very angry with yourself…
