Enlightenment is the ultimate goal that all serious spiritual seekers aspire to. Yet only a few of them have the “game plan” with the majority hoping that one day, when the time is right… After reading the teachings of the Great Avatars: Jesus, Buddha, or spiritual masters like Dr David R. Hawkins, Ramana Maharshi or Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, one thing is obvious: your best time for enlightenment is now. Why? Because the “right now” time is the only time you truly own. When, instead of filling it out entirely with the desire to “live it up” you use it to shape the future, not a second will be wasted.

Now let’s get back to the “game plan”. For it, coupled with the greatest earnestness you can manage, will determine the end result. Yes, it’s been said that every human being will one day attain enlightenment; after undergoing lifetimes of spiritual evolution. But, wouldn’t you rather have it now, than in 5, or 50, or 200 lifetimes?

So, what’s the plan? It really is deceptively simple, as the following five points show:

1. Decide that you want to attain enlightenment now.
2. Dedicate all your mental resources to it.
3. Live every moment of your life with the outmost integrity; compromising nothing, lifting up everything in your way.
4. Love yourself and your whole universe without exceptions.
5. Concentrate on the process – your spiritual work, not on the end goal.

That’s all. No magic rituals, secret knowledge, or paid-for initiations. In fact, the whole process is so deceptively simple, most of spiritual aspirants fail to recognize its merits, and keep searching for something special “out there” that will provide a short-cut, or the missing link…
Hence, the never-ending pilgrimage from one guru to another, more books, more seminars, more “activities” and no progress.

If you follow this five points plan, you’ll attain enlightenment, guaranteed. There’s body of evidence left by the enlightened beings, living contemporarily and in the past, attesting to that. There’s nothing else for you to look for. Forget new ideas, as they will only feed your spiritual ego. For the same reason, don’t for the so-called ‘vital signs”. Stay in the consciousness; renew your dedication to the end goal by maintaining the earnestness and being honest with yourself at every moment. What you’re seeking will come to you. When they asked Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj how long it will take to attain enlightenment, he answered: “Nothing you can do to speed it up, nothing you can do to slow it down.”
Finally, do you know why “It” is so precious? Because you can’t buy it for anything. Pauper and a millionaire, a servant and his king, all have equal access to “It”. On the road leading from the world of illusion and dreams to the Reality, with the Holy Spirit as your companion you’ll get there. By God’s promise.
